The Giant Defy Advanced 0 is a purpose-built endurance road bike for riders who spend serious time in the saddle. The Advanced-Grade Composite carbon frame incorporates Giant's D-Fuse technology — a flex-engineered seatpost and handlebar that absorb road chatter so your legs stay fresher, further into the ride.
Shifting is handled by the Shimano 105 Di2 12-speed electronic groupset. Unlike mechanical systems, Di2 delivers a consistent, accurate gear change every time with minimal finger effort — particularly useful when fatigue sets in on longer rides or steep climbs. The 12-speed cassette provides a wide range suited to varied terrain.
The Giant SLR 2 36 Carbon Disc wheelset features 36mm hookless carbon rims, paired with Giant Gavia Fondo 1 700x32c tubeless-ready tyres. Going tubeless means fewer pinch flats, lower rolling resistance, and the ability to run slightly lower tyre pressures for better grip and comfort — all with tyre clearance up to 38mm for added versatility.
Shimano 105 hydraulic disc brakes with 160mm rotors front and rear ensure confident, modulated braking whether you're descending in dry heat or wet autumn roads. Available in Ocean Twilight / Chrome and five sizes (S, M, M/L, L, XL), the Defy Advanced 0 is for riders who want a technically complete, comfortable bike ready for whatever the road brings.
