Giant Trance Advanced 29 1

The Giant Trance Advanced 29 1 is a full-suspension trail mountain bike built for riders who want real-world performance on both climbs and descents. The Advanced-grade carbon frame — front and rear triangles — keeps weight low while maximising stiffness where it matters. An integrated storage compartment in the down tube is a practical bonus for longer rides. Geometry can be adjusted using the Maestro flip chip, which lets you switch between two positions to change the head angle (down to 65.5°), seat tube angle and bottom bracket height — no tools required beyond a hex key.

The suspension package is built around a Fox 34 Performance Elite fork with 130 mm of travel and GRIP 2 damping, paired with a Fox Float X Performance Elite rear shock running 120 mm of travel through Giant's Maestro linkage. Both are custom-tuned for this specific frame, delivering a smooth ramp-up that absorbs trail chatter without wallowing through bigger hits. The 29" Giant TRX 2 carbon wheelset features a 30 mm internal width and ships with Maxxis Minion DHF 2.5 WT (front) and Aggressor 2.5 (rear), both tubeless ready and capable of running tyres up to 2.6 inches.

The SRAM GX Eagle Transmission drivetrain runs 12 speeds via a wireless AXS Pod lever and a 10-52t cassette, covering steep climbs and fast flats without a single cable in sight. Shimano Deore XT BR-M8120 hydraulic brakes with 180 mm rotors at both ends deliver strong, progressive stopping power. A TranzX dropper seatpost (up to 170 mm of travel depending on frame size) rounds out a spec sheet that's ready for demanding trails straight out of the box.
