Description
The Brompton Electric C Line with SuperRoll+ (e-Motiq system, 4-speed) is the full-featured electric version of the world's most recognisable folding bike. Its precision-drawn, heat-treated steel frame — hand-brazed at every joint — delivers the structural integrity and compact fold that Brompton has built its reputation on. Taille unique means fit is adjusted through saddle height and handlebar position, so one frame works for a wide range of riders.
Power comes from the Brompton e-Motiq 250 W rear hub motor (24 Nm of torque), managed by a torque sensor that reads your pedalling effort and scales the assistance accordingly. The result feels like cycling with a tailwind rather than a motor — responsive, not intrusive. The 345 Wh battery clicks out in a single gesture for easy indoor charging, and delivers a manufacturer-stated range of up to 90 km per charge.
The 4-speed drivetrain (Brompton chain-pusher derailleur, 163% gear range) handles city gradients comfortably, while Brompton dual-pivot caliper brakes provide reliable, easy-to-modulate stopping power on the 16-inch Schwalbe Marathon Racer-shod wheels. The Brompton Handlebar Control Screen puts mode selection, Start Assist activation and range estimation within thumb's reach, with automatic OTA updates delivered wirelessly.
The bike ships ready to ride: mudguards, SuperRoll+ rear carrier, and a front carrier block adaptor compatible with the full Brompton bag ecosystem. The SuperRoll+ system — four 70 mm rollers built into the base of the folded frame — means you can wheel the bike through stations and airports in suitcase mode without lifting it. Certified to UL2849 and EN15194; 3-year warranty on the electrical system upon registration.
