Description
The Brompton NEW G Line Electric City+ is a folding e-bike built around the needs of daily commuters who want electric assistance without giving up the flexibility of a compact fold. The hand-brazed steel frame delivers the precise, springy ride feel Brompton is known for, while the aluminium fork keeps the weight in check. The 20-inch wheels strike a balance between nimble urban handling and a comfortable roll.
The 250 W rear hub motor (Brompton's e-Motiq system) provides smooth, natural-feeling assistance up to 25 km/h. The 345 Wh battery detaches cleanly from the frame, so you can take it to your desk or kitchen to recharge — no need to find a plug near a bike rack. A full charge takes approximately 5 hours with the included 2A charger, or around 4 hours to 80%. The integrated LCD display shows speed, battery level, assistance mode and an adaptive range estimate at a glance.
Tektro hydraulic disc brakes — 140 mm front, 160 mm rear — deliver consistent stopping power regardless of weather. The Schwalbe G-One All Round 54-406 tyres with tan sidewalls handle cobblestones and light gravel with equal confidence. Three frame sizes (Small, Medium, Large) mean the fit can be dialled in with the appropriate seatpost and stem, not just saddle height.
