Description
The Brompton New G Line Electric is a folding electric bike built for commuters and explorers who refuse to compromise. Its hand-brazed steel frame folds down in seconds to a compact 72 × 67 × 41 cm package — small enough for a train, an office corner or a car boot — while the aluminium fork adds rigidity where it matters.
A 250 W rear hub motor delivers smooth, natural-feeling assistance across three levels up to 25 km/h. The removable 345 Wh lithium-ion battery shows its charge level via integrated LED indicators and provides an estimated 30 to 60 km of range depending on terrain and assistance mode. The bike pairs with the Brompton app for over-the-air firmware updates and assistance level customisation.
The Brompton Advance 4-speed transmission (11–18T sprockets, 50T chainring, 163% range) gives you enough gearing to handle urban gradients without fuss. Tektro hydraulic disc brakes — 140 mm rotor front, 160 mm rear — deliver consistent stopping power in wet or dry conditions. Schwalbe G-One All Round 54-406 (2.1") tan-wall tyres absorb road imperfections and offer grip on a variety of surfaces.
Mudguards, rear rack and integrated front (9 W) and rear lighting come fitted as standard. The G Line Electric is available in Small, Medium and Large frame heights to suit a wide range of riders, and is offered here in Forest Green. Frame warranty: 7 years. Electrical system warranty: 3 years (both on registration).
