The Cube Kathmandu Hybrid C:62 SLX 400X is a versatile e-bike designed to handle the daily back-and-forth between city streets and light off-road paths with equal ease. The C:62 carbon frame, built around an Efficient Comfort geometry with internal cable routing and Boost axles, keeps the overall weight low while absorbing road vibrations — a real benefit when navigating traffic or carrying the bike up stairs.
Power comes from the Bosch Performance Line SX motor (60 Nm), which provides natural, well-dosed assistance without feeling intrusive. The Bosch CompactTube 400 Wh battery sits neatly inside the down tube, preserving the bike's clean silhouette. Ride data and assistance levels are managed via the Bosch Kiox 500 display paired with a compact LED remote.
The Shimano XT 12-speed drivetrain (RD-M8200-SGS) with a wide-range 10-51T cassette means you'll have the right gear whether you're pulling away from traffic lights or grinding up a longer incline. Shimano XT BR-M8100 hydraulic disc brakes ensure confident, modulated stopping power regardless of the weather. Newmen Beskar 30 700c wheels fitted with Schwalbe G-One Overland 50 mm tyres roll efficiently on tarmac and stay planted on packed gravel.
The Kathmandu SLX is geared towards riders who commute regularly and want a bike that's ready without extras to buy.
