Description
The Cube Kathmandu Hybrid Deluxe EXC 800 is a trekking e-bike built for riders who want reliable, low-maintenance transport across city streets and light trails. The Superlite aluminium frame uses Cube's Gravity Casting Technology to house a Bosch PowerTube 800 Wh battery completely inside the frame — no external battery pack, a cleaner profile and a lower centre of gravity for better stability when loaded.
Power comes from the Bosch Performance Line CX motor with up to 100 Nm of torque. In practical terms, that means steep urban hills, loaded cargo runs and headwinds become manageable rather than exhausting. The automatic hub gearbox paired with a Gates belt drive means no oil, no chain grease on your trousers and smooth gear changes without any input from you — the drivetrain simply adapts as you ride.
Safety is well covered: Shimano hydraulic disc brakes with ABS prevent wheel lock during emergency stops, especially valuable on wet tarmac or gravel. A RockShox air suspension fork with 100 mm of travel absorbs road vibration from cobblestones and unpaved paths, reducing fatigue on longer rides. The Bosch Kiox 500 display gives clear readouts of speed, range and assist level in all lighting conditions.
