Description
The Cube Kathmandu SLT in its trapeze frame version is a trekking bike built for riders who cover serious distances — whether commuting daily, heading out on weekend rides or embarking on multi-day tours. The lowered top tube makes stepping through easy at every stop. Its standout feature is the Shimano Cues Di2 Q'Auto electronic drivetrain, an 11-speed system that shifts gears automatically based on your pedalling effort.
The Superlite aluminium frame with Trekking Comfort geometry and double-butted tubing keeps things light and responsive, while the RockShox Paragon Gold Air suspension fork (65 mm travel, remote lockout) takes the edge off rougher surfaces — cobblestones, gravel tracks or uneven urban terrain. Shimano Cues BR-U8000 hydraulic disc brakes (180 mm front, 160 mm rear) provide consistent, modulated stopping power regardless of conditions or how much luggage you're carrying.
The Kathmandu SLT is genuinely ready to ride: the ACID Integrated Carrier 3.0 rack is built into the frame for a cleaner look and more stable load distribution. Schwalbe Marathon Mondial Pro tyres in 47 mm — a trusted choice for long-distance touring — are mounted on tubeless-ready ACID EX25 rims. The Cues CS-LG700 11-50T cassette offers a very wide gear range for climbs and loaded rides alike.
Mudguards, dynamo-powered ACID Pro-D lighting and a kickstand are all included as standard. Available in sizes XS, S and M, with a claimed weight of 15.4 kg.
