Description

The Cube Reaction TM One 2026 is a trail hardtail built to make demanding singletrack easy to handle. TM stands for Trail Motion, a label Cube reserves for bikes genuinely capable of rowdy riding rather than gentle forest paths.

Its Aluminium Lite frame is long, low and slack, with internal cable routing, ISCG05 tabs, Boost 148 spacing and a UDH rear end. There is clearance for tyres up to 2.6 inches, so the setup can be adapted to the terrain. Up front, the SR Suntour XCR34 2CR Air fork delivers 140 mm of travel with easy air-spring adjustment and precise steering.

The Shimano Cues 1x11 drivetrain pairs a 32-tooth chainring with an 11-50T cassette, giving the range to climb steeply and keep pedalling on fast sections. Magura MT Thirty hydraulic disc brakes, with a 203 mm rotor at the front and 180 mm at the rear, provide powerful and progressive stopping even in mud and wet. The remote dropper post and the Schwalbe Magic Mary / Big Betty 2.4" tyre combination complete a bike genuinely built for descents.

Ideal for riders who want a tough, agile trail bike, capable on technical descents and punchy climbs, without the cost and maintenance of a full-suspension setup.

Shimano Cues CS-LG400, 11-50T

The cassette built to survive an electric bike. The Shimano CUES CS-LG400 in 11-50T is an 11-speed cassette built around LINKGLIDE, the technology Shimano developed specifically to answer the problem e-bikes create: a motor that delivers torque constantly wears a drivetrain out far faster than a human leg does. In practice, LINKGLIDE claims up to three times the tooth life of a conventional Hyperglide cassette under high chain tension. The teeth are thicker and the shift ramps redrawn to absorb shifting under load — the kind you make without thinking mid-acceleration, motor at full assist, and which destroys an ordinary drivetrain. Shifting is also smoother in both directions, with noticeably less shock through the pedals. With an 11-13-15-17-20-23-26-30-36-43-50 progression, it covers the ground without gaps: closely spaced ratios at the bottom of the cassette to hold a steady cadence on the flat, and a 50-tooth sprocket so you are never stuck on a climb, loaded or not. It requires a LINKGLIDE drivetrain (matching CUES derailleur and shifter) and takes either a LINKGLIDE or an HG 11-speed chain.
