Description

The Cube Touring Hybrid Pro 800 is an electric touring bike designed for riders who need a versatile, dependable companion for urban commutes and light off-road use. The aluminium Superlite frame with Efficient Comfort Geometry places the rider in an upright, relaxed position — comfortable over long distances without sacrificing agility.

At its core, the Bosch Performance Line PX motor (90 Nm of torque) delivers natural-feeling assistance that responds smoothly to your pedalling effort. The Bosch PowerTube 800 Wh battery is integrated neatly into the frame, keeping the bike's silhouette clean while providing substantial range for multi-day use. The Bosch Purion 200 display is built directly into the handlebar grip — minimal and easy to read at a glance.

The Shimano Cues 11-speed drivetrain (11-50T cassette) offers a wide range of gears suited for loaded climbs and faster flat riding alike. The SR Suntour NX1-32 LO Air fork (100 mm travel, 15x110 mm axle) smooths out potholes and rougher surfaces without adding unnecessary weight to the front end. Shimano BR-MT200 hydraulic disc brakes (180 mm rotors, front and rear) provide firm, predictable braking in wet or dry conditions.

The bike ships fully equipped: semi-integrated rear rack, full mudguards, integrated lighting front and rear, and a kickstand — everything needed for day-one practicality. The 29-inch wheels fitted with Schwalbe Motion Big Apple (55-622) tyres roll comfortably over mixed surfaces.

The Shimano CUES CS-LG400 in 11-50T is an 11-speed cassette built around LINKGLIDE, the technology Shimano developed specifically to answer the problem e-bikes create: a motor that delivers torque constantly wears a drivetrain out far faster than a human leg does. In practice, LINKGLIDE claims up to three times the tooth life of a conventional Hyperglide cassette under high chain tension. The teeth are thicker and the shift ramps redrawn to absorb shifting under load — the kind you make without thinking mid-acceleration, motor at full assist, and which destroys an ordinary drivetrain. Shifting is also smoother in both directions, with noticeably less shock through the pedals. With an 11-13-15-17-20-23-26-30-36-43-50 progression, it covers the ground without gaps: closely spaced ratios at the bottom of the cassette to hold a steady cadence on the flat, and a 50-tooth sprocket so you are never stuck on a climb, loaded or not. It requires a LINKGLIDE drivetrain (matching CUES derailleur and shifter) and takes either a LINKGLIDE or an HG 11-speed chain.
