Giant FastRoad AR 1

The Giant FastRoad AR 1 is built for riders who need a single bike that works on city streets, mixed surfaces and longer weekend rides alike. The ALUXX aluminium frame, built with single-butted tubing, keeps weight in check while staying stiff where it counts. Paired with an Advanced-grade composite fork, the overall ride feel is noticeably smoother than a standard alloy build.

The 700x40 mm tubeless-ready tyres are the key to the AR 1's versatility. Wide enough to roll over cobblestones, light gravel and broken tarmac without losing speed, they can also be set up tubeless to reduce the risk of punctures during your daily commute. The Giant D-Fuse composite seatpost — shaped like a D rather than a round tube — adds a secondary layer of vertical compliance, taking some of the sting out of rough surfaces before it reaches your back.

The Tektro HD-R280 hydraulic disc brakes with 160 mm Giant MPH rotors give you powerful, modular stopping regardless of whether it's dry, wet or muddy — a genuine advantage for year-round riding in Belgium. The Shimano CUES 11-speed groupset runs a 1x (single chainring) setup, which means no front derailleur to fiddle with and a cleaner cockpit. Built-in rack and mudguard mounts on both the frame and fork mean you can equip the FastRoad AR 1 for daily use without any workarounds.
