Why is there an insurance file?

The renting contract runs over 24, 36 or 48 months depending on your choice. Our insurance partner Atradius checks that everything is in order on the financial side, then your file is approved and you're set. Quick (24–48 h) and confidential process.

Can I cancel before the end of the contract?

Yes, you can cancel the contract before its term, against a break fee to compensate for the bike's loss of value. Contact us to calculate your situation together.

Can I take my bike outside Belgium?

Yes, no problem. The included omnium insurance covers your bike anywhere in the world. Only the roadside assistance is limited to Belgium and 30 km beyond its borders.

Which bikes are available for renting?

Our full new-bike catalogue: Cube, Giant, Moustache, Riese & Müller, Merida. You pick the bike and equipment that suit you.

What's the difference with leasing?

Leasing goes through your company (fringe benefit, mobility budget, cafeteria plan). Renting is signed in your own name, without your employer's involvement, and is open to anyone: employees, self-employed, retirees, students.

Can I fund my renting with the mobility budget?

Yes. If your employer offers a mobility budget, you can use it to fund all or part of your renting. We'll guide you through the process.

Description

The Moustache Xroad 2 Open 500 Wh is a versatile electric bike for riders who move between tarmac and gravel without wanting to compromise. Its 6061 aluminium step-through frame makes getting on and off the bike effortless in everyday clothing, while the Bosch PowerTube 500 Wh battery, housed inside the downtube, keeps the centre of gravity low and the overall look clean and uncluttered.

The Bosch Performance Line motor provides smooth, responsive assistance managed through the Bosch Purion display on the handlebar. The 9-speed Shimano CUES drivetrain gives you a broad range of gears — helpful when climbing loaded or maintaining speed on flat ground. The SR Suntour XCM32-ATB fork with 80 mm of travel and lockout function takes the edge off rough surfaces, while Shimano MT200 hydraulic disc brakes deliver consistent stopping power in all conditions.

The bike arrives ready to ride: AXA Blueline 30-lux front light and Spanninga Presto2Guard rear light, both drawing power from the main battery, plus a frame-integrated AXA Block XXL lock. The aluminium rear rack features a MIK HD platform compatible with a wide ecosystem of bags and accessories. Available in S, M and L, the Xroad 2 Open comes with a 5-year warranty on the frame and fork.
