The renting contract runs over 24, 36 or 48 months depending on your choice. Our insurance partner Atradius checks that everything is in order on the financial side, then your file is approved and you're set. Quick (24–48 h) and confidential process.

Can I cancel before the end of the contract?

Yes, you can cancel the contract before its term, against a break fee to compensate for the bike's loss of value. Contact us to calculate your situation together.

Can I take my bike outside Belgium?

Yes, no problem. The included omnium insurance covers your bike anywhere in the world. Only the roadside assistance is limited to Belgium and 30 km beyond its borders.

Which bikes are available for renting?

Our full new-bike catalogue: Cube, Giant, Moustache, Riese & Müller, Merida. You pick the bike and equipment that suit you.

What's the difference with leasing?

Leasing goes through your company (fringe benefit, mobility budget, cafeteria plan). Renting is signed in your own name, without your employer's involvement, and is open to anyone: employees, self-employed, retirees, students.

Can I fund my renting with the mobility budget?

Yes. If your employer offers a mobility budget, you can use it to fund all or part of your renting. We'll guide you through the process.

Description

The Tern Quick Haul Long D9 is an electric longtail cargo bike designed for families and city dwellers looking to replace the car for everyday errands, school runs and grocery trips. Its 6061 aluminium frame carries a certified total load of 190 kg (DIN 79010), and the Atlas L rear rack alone handles up to 90 kg — enough for child seats or a large load of shopping.

Power comes from the Bosch Cargo Line mid-drive motor, producing 85 Nm of torque with up to 400% assistance. This motor is purpose-built for heavy cargo bikes: it delivers smooth, proportional support rather than sudden surges, making it easy to manage even when fully loaded. The Bosch PowerPack 500 Wh battery and Bosch Purion handlebar remote let you switch assistance levels easily.

The Tektro 9-speed drivetrain (11-42T cassette) offers a wide gear range for varied urban terrain, while Tektro HD-T280 hydraulic disc brakes provide confident, load-adjusted stopping power. Tern Atlas H wheels fitted with Tern x Schwalbe Super Moto-X tyres smooth out typical city road surfaces. A StVZO-approved 90 lux front light and Herrmans rear light keep you visible in all conditions.

The Quick Haul Long D9 fits riders from 155 to 190 cm and comes in one size. At 29.3 kg, it includes a cargo kickstand and an ABUS or AXA lock — conveniently sharing the same key as the battery.

Accessible par excellence. The Bosch PowerPack 500 Wh is the external battery that has convinced thousands of cyclists — reliable, well-sized and easy to use on a daily basis. With 500 Wh of capacity, it ensures comfortable autonomy for urban journeys and local walks, without frills or additional costs. Mounted on the frame tube and removable in a single movement, it is perfectly suited to cyclists who recharge their battery separately — at the office, at home or on the go. Its compact format and low weight preserve the agility of the bike while remaining close to the center of gravity for natural and balanced driving behavior.
