Tern Quick Haul Long D9

The Tern Quick Haul Long D9 is an electric longtail cargo bike designed to replace the car for everyday errands, school runs and family logistics. Its 6061 aluminium frame carries a DIN 79010 certification for a total system weight of 190 kg, meaning it has been independently tested to handle children, luggage and a rider up to 120 kg without any compromise on stiffness or long-term reliability.

Power comes from a Bosch Cargo Line motor producing 85 Nm of torque and up to 400% assistance — a calibration specifically developed for loaded cargo bikes. In practice, you pull away smoothly even with a full rack, and hills become far easier. The Bosch PowerPack 500 Wh battery provides comfortable range for urban riding, and the Bosch Purion remote keeps battery level and assist mode visible at a glance.

The Tern Atlas L rack handles up to 90 kg and is compatible with certified child seats, panniers or cargo boxes. The Tektro 1x9 drivetrain with an 11-42T cassette gives you enough gear range for flat city streets and moderate inclines. Tektro HD-T280 hydraulic brakes deliver consistent stopping power regardless of how much you're carrying, and the 90-lux StVZO-approved headlight means you're visible and legal after dark.

The bike ships with a cargo kickstand, an ABUS or AXA lock that shares a key with the battery, and Tern x Schwalbe Super Moto-X tyres. One size fits riders between 155 and 190 cm.
