Abus Capuche de pluie universelle noire

ABUS rain cap, pulled over the helmet when the rain settles in.

The material is water-repellent: water runs off instead of pouring through the ventilation openings. A well-ventilated helmet is a sieve in a downpour — which is exactly what this cap fixes, without changing anything else in your kit.

It carries large reflective elements, useful precisely when visibility drops. An elastic band adjusts it to the helmet size, and it folds small enough to live permanently in a pannier.

In discreet black. A more visible yellow version is available at the same price.
