Abus CliffHanger wildberry red

The ABUS CliffHanger wildberry red is the flagship trail model in the ABUS MTB range — the helmet for demanding singletrack and enduro, riding steep hills up and down. 325 g in size M, for a head circumference of 54 to 58 cm.

Its construction is distinctive: the inner shell of EPS hard foam is foamed into a three-part outer shell, making the helmet both lightweight and sturdy. The Acti Cage structural reinforcement stiffens the whole and creates room for large vents. The lower edge protection — a polycarbonate shell covering the rim — takes scratches, impacts and wear.

Two details make the difference on the trail. The peak is height-adjustable with locking positions: raise it for hanging branches, lower it against the sun. And the magnetic FIDLOCK buckle opens and closes one-handed, even with gloves on.

Fit comes from the dedicated MTB adjustment system and the Zoom™ Spin dial: the helmet stays put when rattling through the wildest rock gardens. A Ponytail Fit opening for a ponytail, bun or braids; a Trivider™ strap divider, particularly flat and fixed in position so it will not shift unintentionally; Velcro-mounted Comfort Pads, removable and washable; a half ring.
