The Abus GameChanger 2.0 Movistar Team is a high-end road helmet developed in close collaboration with the Movistar professional cycling team. Its aerodynamic profile was refined over 90 wind-tunnel sessions with rider Enric Mas — meaning its aero gains translate to real-world riding, not just controlled lab conditions. The Aero Blade technology is the defining feature: a specially designed grille integrated into the shell that manages airflow around the head independently of speed, lateral angle or pitch. This reduces drag without closing off ventilation channels. The AirBoost intake system, combined with Forced Air Cooling Technology, actively channels fresh air across the scalp, making sustained efforts in warm conditions considerably more comfortable. The Multi-shell In-Mold construction bonds a polycarbonate outer shell to an EPS foam core reinforced by the ActiCage structural cage, adding rigidity without extra weight. At approximately 265 g in size M, it wears lightly over long distances. Made in Italy, the GameChanger 2.0 comes in three sizes — S, M, and L — covering head circumferences from 51 to 61 cm. Practical details include a QUIN sensor port for connecting a smart impact detector, an aerodynamic AirPort eyewear dock with temple guides at the rear, and sewn FlowStraps that stay flat against your face at speed. A MIPS version (Air Node Rotation System) is also available for additional rotational protection.
