The difference starts with the shorter comb-tail, which compensates for greater head movement after long hours of suffering or on inclines: the helmet stays effective even when you lift your gaze. Greater airflow keeps the rider cool on exposed routes without shade and on slower climbs, where speed alone no longer ventilates. And the aerodynamics stay consistent whether you ride with the visor, with sports goggles, or with neither.

Ventilation builds on Forced Air Cooling: the vents are linked by internal channels that guide air through the helmet. Acti Cage™, a structural reinforcement foamed into the shell, allows those large openings without losing stiffness, and the in-mould process bonds the EPS liner to the polycarbonate shell.

Because a quick change can be crucial in triathlon, the chin strap closes one-handed with the magnetic FIDLOCK buckle, gloves on or off. The Flow Straps™ webbing is adapted to fit as tightly as possible so it doesn't flutter, and the straps are stitched — no strap dividers needed. The magnetic visor shields against wind, rain and insects, and is easily removable and replaceable. The Zoom™ Spin rear wheel handles adjustment, the Ponytail Fit opening accommodates long hair, and the pads are removable and washable. No MIPS, no peak and no light; suitable for adults and teenagers.
