Description
The ABUS HiDrop is an uncompromising full-face downhill helmet: fixed chin bar, hard shell, no concession to weight. This is the helmet for the hardest tracks, not for mixed riding.
The most certified helmet in the ABUS MTB range, and it checks out: EN 1078 (Europe), ASTM F1952 and ASTM F2032 (downhill and BMX, USA), CPSC and AS/NZ (Australia / New Zealand). It was developed with the team riders and raced: EWS, Crankworx World Tour, DH World Cup.
Hard shell construction — the injection-moulded outer shell is placed over the shock-absorbing rigid foam, a process built for raw robustness. 1070 g in size M: heavy, deliberately so, and that's the price of this level of protection.
Liner Pad: fully-enclosing inner padding all round the head. Antibacterial cheek pads on press studs, pads removable and washable. Bug Mesh against insects without choking the ventilation. Breakaway Visor: the peak detaches in a fall to spare the neck. Goggle Fit for goggles. Double-D buckle, the downhill standard.
M = 57-58 cm, sizes S, M, L and XL, colour ash purple.
