Abus HYP-E ACE gleam silver

The ABUS HYP-E ACE is the fully-equipped HYP-E: same helmet with lights and indicators, supplied with the magnetic visor and the ear pads.

Integrated front and rear lights, USB-C rechargeable, with six modes (Steady, Power, Flow, Pulse, Flash, Eco). Both lights work as indicators, and the wireless handlebar remote is included: signal a turn without letting go of the bars, at head height, above car roofs. Brake-light function available with the optional remote.

At least 2 h steady and 40 h flashing, full charge in about 4 h. Lighting rated IP44, splash-water resistant.

What the ACE adds, and what justifies the 715 g (against 580 g): the height-adjustable magnetic visor — clear version included, it folds up, comes off and can be swapped, shielding from wind, rain and insects; and the Ear Pads, attachable ear muffs against damp and cold. Two accessories you'd buy separately on the base HYP-E.

Vent Cover closes the vents. Mixed in-mould + hard shell construction, lower edge protected, Ponytail Fit, Bug Mesh, Zoom™ Spin dial, Flap Divider™, magnetic FIDLOCK buckle. Pads machine-washable at 30 °C.

M = 54-58 cm, sizes S, M and L, colour gleam silver, matt-and-gloss finish.
