Description
The ABUS LOWK-Y LED como blue is the urban helmet for people who ride through town every day, by bike or e-bike. 330 g in size M, for a head circumference of 54 to 58 cm.
Two differences from the plain LOWK-Y, and both matter. First, the rechargeable LED rear light is included: it clips on at the back, charges in about 1 hour over USB-C, offers two modes (steady and flashing) for at least 6.5 hours continuous and 10.5 hours flashing, with an IP44 rating (splash water) and a lithium-ion battery.
Second, the buckle is a magnetic FIDLOCK rather than a push-in clip: it opens one-handed, even with gloves on. In winter, in town, that changes the daily routine.
The rest is shared: a Breakaway Visor that detaches in a fall, a Zoom™ Spin dial on a full head ring, a Ponytail Fit opening, a Flap Divider™ with clamp, removable washable Comfort Pads and an in-mould shell.
