Description
The ABUS LOWK-Y shiny black is a versatile urban helmet built for everyday journeys: work, school, or an easy ride on an e-bike. 310 g in size M, for a head circumference of 54 to 58 cm.
It borrows the Breakaway Visor from the brand's mountain bike helmets: it shields you from low sun and hanging branches, and is designed to detach in a fall to limit strain on the neck — rare protection at this price.
Fit is set with the Zoom™ Spin dial on a full head ring, with a Ponytail Fit opening for a ponytail, bun or braids. Flap Divider™ strap divider with a clamp below the ears, three-pronged push-in buckle, Velcro Comfort Pads, removable and washable, in-mould shell.
A rechargeable rear light (USB-C cable) plugs into the back of the helmet, as an option — it is not included. To get it fitted as standard, choose the LOWK-Y LED.
