Abus MoDrop wildberry red

The ABUS MoDrop wildberry red is the all-rounder in the ABUS MTB range: a do-it-all trail helmet with an excellent price-performance ratio, for riders who feel at home on demanding trails. 335 g in size M, for a head circumference of 54 to 58 cm.

ABUS pitches it as the companion for big mountain days and leisurely family outings alike: it handles any terrain and any riding style. The height-adjustable peak, with locking positions, fends off hanging branches on descents — and in a fall it can prevent direct impact with the face.

The two-part outer shell means the lower edge is protected too (scratches, impacts, wear), while leaving plenty of freedom in the design. Inside, the EPS foam is expanded directly into the polycarbonate shell — the in-mould process.

Fit comes from the dedicated MTB adjustment system and the Zoom™ Spin dial, with a Ponytail Fit opening for a ponytail, bun or braids. The straps run through a Trivider™ divider, particularly flat and fixed in position so it will not shift unintentionally. Finishing touches: Velcro-mounted Comfort Pads, removable and washable, a three-pronged push-in buckle, a half ring and a reflector sticker. Worth knowing: this is not a full-face helmet, it has no Mips and no light (for the Mips layer, see the MoDrop MIPS), and crash detection is offered as an option. For adults.
