Description
The ABUS MoRaine velvet black is the mountain bike helmet for occasional riders: those who head out now and then on easy trails, for a tour or a training ride. 340 g in size M, for a head circumference of 54 to 58 cm.
Its Breakaway Visor is the real signature: it shields you from low sun and hanging branches, and is designed to detach from the helmet in a fall, to limit strain on the neck. That is not something you find on ordinary entry-level helmets.
Fit is set with the Zoom™ Spin dial on a full head ring, with a Ponytail Fit opening for a ponytail, bun or braids. Flap Divider™ strap divider with a clamp below the ears, three-pronged push-in buckle, Velcro Comfort Pads, removable and washable, in-mould shell.
A rechargeable rear light (USB-C cable) plugs into the back of the helmet: it is available as an option, not included. This model has no Mips — for that, choose the MoRaine MIPS.
