Description
The ABUS PowerDome ACE metallic copper is the PowerDome supplied with its matching ABUS Race Cap: the peaked cap fits neatly under the helmet and shields you from low sun, rain and insects. Same helmet, same weight — 230 g in size M — for a head circumference of 54 to 58 cm.
Like the PowerDome, it is made in Italy, at the ABUS plant behind the GameChanger, AirBreaker and StormChaser. 10 air inlets and 7 outlets keep the air moving even in the heat, backed by the air scoop modelled on high-performance cars, which gives the helmet its name.
The straps are stitched with no divider: they sit close to the face and do not flap. The Floating Pad padding clicks onto several points instead of being glued — more flexible and better ventilated. Fit is set with the Zoom™ Spin dial on a half ring, with a Ponytail Fit opening, a three-pronged push-in buckle and removable, washable pads.
Classed as both a road and a gravel helmet, for adults and teenagers. No Mips, no visor, no light and no lower edge protection.
