Abus PowerDome blaze red

The ABUS PowerDome blaze red is a road helmet made in Italy, at the ABUS plant that already builds the GameChanger, AirBreaker and StormChaser. 230 g in size M — one of the lightest in the range — for a head circumference of 54 to 58 cm.

Ventilation is its strong suit: 10 air inlets and 7 outlets keep the air moving even in high temperatures. Add the air scoop, modelled on high-performance cars and the source of the helmet's name — a design element that does real work.

The straps are stitched with no divider: they sit close to the face, do not flap and gain in aerodynamics. The Floating Pad padding clicks into several attachment points instead of being glued: more flexible, better ventilated, more comfortable. Fit is set with the Zoom™ Spin dial on a half ring, with a Ponytail Fit opening, a three-pronged push-in buckle and removable, washable pads.
