The ABUS PowerDome MIPS Gleam Silver is a half-shell helmet designed for road cycling and gravel riding, manufactured in Italy. Its In-Mold construction permanently bonds the polycarbonate outer shell with the EPS impact-absorbing foam, resulting in a stiff, protective structure that weighs only 260 g in size M. The integrated MIPS (Multi-directional Impact Protection System) layer sits between the inner padding and the EPS shell. During an oblique impact, it allows a small amount of independent movement inside the helmet, which helps reduce rotational forces transmitted to the brain. Ventilation comes from 10 air inlets and 7 outlets, powered by Forced Air Cooling technology and a Venturi effect from the top air scoop. The Zoom Ace retention system adjusts vertically for a precise fit and includes a dedicated ponytail port, while FlowStraps sit flat and soft against the skin without shifting. The Floating Padding is attached at just three points and is fully removable and washable. The helmet meets the EN 1078 safety standard, comes in sizes S, M and L, and is designed for both men and women.
