Description

The ABUS PowerDome MIPS in Shiny Black is designed for road cycling, gravel and urban riding, and is manufactured in Italy at the ABUS facility. Its In-Mold construction permanently bonds the polycarbonate outer shell to the EPS foam liner, creating a rigid yet lightweight structure weighing approximately 260 g in size M. The integrated MIPS (Multi-Directional Impact Protection System) adds a thin internal layer that moves independently during an oblique impact, reducing rotational energy transferred to the brain. Ventilation is handled by 10 inlets and 7 outlets using Forced Air Cooling and Venturi-effect channelling to pull heat away efficiently. The FlowStraps lie flat against the skin without flapping, and the Floating Padding — held at 3 anchor points — allows air to circulate while staying comfortable against the head. The Zoom Ace retention system adjusts in height with a simple dial and includes a ponytail-compatible opening. Available in Shiny Black in sizes 54–58 cm and 57–61 cm. A detachable rear fin completes the aerodynamic profile. Certified to EN 1078.
