Abus Skurb Kid iced mint

The ABUS Skurb Kid iced mint bridges the gap between a stylish skate helmet and robust head protection — the helmet for kids who want a casual skater look on the bike. 250 g in size M, for a head circumference of 50 to 55 cm.

Do not confuse it with the adult Skurb: the Kid is its own model, 60 g lighter and shaped for children's heads (50-55 cm against 55-59 cm). ABUS classes it as a skate helmet and kids helmet.

The shell is made using the in-mould process: the EPS foam is expanded directly into the polycarbonate outer shell. Fit is adjusted with the Zoom™ Spin dial at the back of the head, on a full head ring, with a Ponytail Fit opening for a ponytail, bun or braids.

One difference from the adult Skurb: the straps are stitched and need no dividers — they sit close to the face and do not flap. A three-pronged push-in buckle closes it, with Velcro-mounted Comfort Pads, removable and washable. A rear light is available as an accessory for better visibility in traffic: it is not included in the delivery. Worth knowing: no Mips, no peak and no lower edge protection.
