Abus StormChaser ACE pure mint

The ABUS StormChaser ACE pure mint is the road helmet for fast-paced riding: road races, cyclocross and ambitious competition. Tried and tested by racing professionals, it now gets a visible update — the lower edge protection runs all the way around the helmet. That polycarbonate shell over the rim guards against scratches, impacts and wear, and shields the shock-absorbing inner material at the same time.

The silhouette stays streamlined and angular, with precisely shaped air inlets and outlets to ventilate the head. The height-adjustable Zoom™ adjustment system lets you fine-tune the fit, and the strap anchor points have been revised, removing the slight rattling noises even at speed.

The rest is pure StormChaser: 220 g in size M for a head circumference of 54 to 58 cm, an in-mould shell (EPS foamed directly into the polycarbonate), the Acti Cage™ structural reinforcement foamed into the EPS for large vent openings without losing stability, a Ponytail Fit opening, a Front Eyewear Port to hold your glasses, and stitched straps with no dividers.

Day to day: removable, washable Floating Pad padding, a three-pronged push-in buckle, a half ring and a reflector sticker. Worth knowing before you choose: this model has no Mips, no visor, no peak and no light, and crash detection is not offered. For adults and teenagers.
