Abus Taipan LED velvet black

The ABUS Taipan LED is the Taipan gravel helmet with the rear light already on it. On the base version, that light is an accessory you buy separately.

Magnetic USB-C rechargeable rear light: it attaches and comes off magnetically, no clip or strap. Four modes (Steady, Power, Pulse, Flash), at least 4.3 h in Power mode and 35 h in Flash mode, full charge in about 1.5 h. Rated IP44: splash-water resistant.

Otherwise it's the Taipan — made in Italy, 295 g in size M (20 g more than the version without the light).

Forced Air Cooling: the vents are linked by internal channels that push air through the helmet. The Acti Cage™, structural reinforcement foamed into the shell, allows those big openings without losing rigidity.

Front Eyewear Port to stow glasses at the front in an aero hold. Aerodynamic Flow Straps™ — less drag, less wind noise. Floating Pad clipped onto several anchor points, Ponytail Fit, reflector sticker, lower edge protected, push-in buckle. Pads removable and washable.

M = 54-58 cm, sizes S, M and L, colour velvet black.
