Description
The ABUS YouDrop Wildberry Red is an MTB helmet designed for children and teenagers with a head circumference between 48 and 55 cm (size S). Its In-Mold construction permanently bonds the outer shell to the inner EPS foam, creating a helmet that is simultaneously robust, thin and light at just 310 g.
With 6 intake and 5 exhaust vents connected by internal channels, airflow is channelled efficiently across the head — a real plus on warm days or active trail sessions. The Zoom Ace MTB retention system at the rear lets parents and kids fine-tune both the circumference and the vertical position of the cradle, with full compatibility for ponytails.
The Velcro-mounted visor features a Break-Away function: it detaches automatically during a fall so it doesn't cause the helmet to rotate and strain the neck. Interior pads are removable and easy to hand wash. A retro-reflective element at the rear adds a layer of visibility during early mornings or evening rides.
