The ABUS Youn-I 2.0 is the helmet for children and teenagers riding on their own: school, club, weekend outings.

260 g only — weight is what matters most at that age: a heavy helmet ends up hanging off the handlebar.

Clip-on rear light included, two modes (steady and flashing). It runs on a battery, and that's a real advantage here: at least 12 h steady and 24 h flashing. Nothing to recharge, nothing to plug in every evening — on a child's helmet, it's the only light that's still working when it's needed. A reflector sticker adds visibility from behind.

Ponytail Fit: the opening in the adjustment system lets a ponytail, bun or braids through — a genuine day-to-day issue. Bug Mesh against insects without choking the ventilation.

Zoom™ Spin dial at the back to adjust the fit as they grow, Flap Divider™ with clamp below the ears, classic push-in buckle — easy to open and close on their own. Comfort pads removable and washable. In-mould construction: EPS foamed directly into the polycarbonate shell.
