Abus Youn-I ACE pearl white

The ABUS Youn-I ACE pearl white is a fully equipped city helmet for everyday riding: 270 g in size M, for a head circumference of 52 to 57 cm.

It comes with its clip-on rear light, which attaches to the back of the shell. Two modes — steady and flashing — for at least 12 hours in continuous mode and 24 hours flashing. It runs on a CR2032 cell: nothing to recharge, a battery to replace.

Second piece of standard equipment: a removable clip-on peak held by pins — that is what sets it apart from the Youn-I 2.0, along with 10 g more on the scales. The shell is built with the in-mould process (EPS foam expanded into the polycarbonate shell), fit is set with the Zoom™ Spin dial on a full head ring, and the Flap Divider™ clamp locks the strap setting below the ears.

Three-pronged push-in buckle, removable and washable Velcro Comfort Pads, reflector sticker and insect-stopping Bug Mesh. Worth knowing: this model has no Ponytail Fit opening (unlike the Youn-I 2.0) and no Mips. ABUS aims it at adults and teenagers.
