Description
The ACID HIC RILink front carrier connects to the frame via the HIC system (Headtube Integrated Carrier) developed by CUBE — and that's its real argument.
A carrier bolted directly to the head tube passes the impact to the frame in a crash. The HIC, by contrast, can rotate: it therefore doesn't damage the frame. On a cargo bike, that difference isn't theoretical.
The platform struts run in the direction of travel, which gives it high stiffness, and the continuous flowing outer contour takes care of the looks.
The platform is sized for a 300 × 400 mm Eurocrate. It also takes the ACID RILink 20 and 25 L baskets (rattan included), and you can bolt your own container or board straight onto the load surface. Everything else straps down.
