The Basil B-Safe Backpack Nordlicht is built for everyday cyclists who want a single bag that works on the bike and off it. The Basil Hook-On System lets you mount it on your rear rack in seconds and remove it just as quickly when you arrive — at which point the padded back panel, padded shoulder straps and chest strap make it comfortable to wear for the rest of your day.

Inside, 18 litres of storage (31 × 16 × 52 cm) includes a dedicated laptop compartment for screens up to 15.6 inches. The integrated USB port lets you charge your phone from a power bank stored inside the bag without opening it mid-journey. A hidden strap pocket keeps your travel card or key documents close at hand and out of sight, while concealed zips add an extra layer of anti-theft security.

The Nordlicht LED panel on the front of the bag runs on AAA batteries and provides supplementary visibility — useful when lighting conditions change, though it does not replace legally required bike lights. Reflective loops let you attach additional lights or hang a helmet. The included rain cover handles wet weather, and a trolley strap slides over wheeled luggage for easy travel through stations or airports. Maximum load: 5 kg. 2-year warranty.
