The Bobike Evolve Maxi Reclinable Carrier is a rear child seat designed to fit on your bike's luggage rack. It carries children from 9 months up to 6 years old, with a maximum weight of 22 kg and a maximum height of 110 cm. That broad range means a single seat sees you through the whole period your child rides along with you.
Comfort is built into every detail. Integrated suspension hidden beneath the waterproof, self-draining padding smooths out road bumps before they reach the child. The headrest extends across 5 positions (+5 cm) and the footrest adjusts across 17 positions — both without tools — so the fit stays right as your child grows. The backrest reclines up to 20° with a single hand movement, without requiring the child to get out, which is particularly useful on longer rides when little ones fall asleep.
Safety is provided by a 5-point harness with a central buckle and a backpack-style design that makes buckling up straightforward, even with a helmet on. The double-wall shell — rigid on the inside, flexible on the outside — adds impact protection. The seat is certified to EN 14344:2022 and has been independently tested and approved by TÜV-SUD, carrying the GS Mark.
It fits any luggage rack conforming to ISO 11243:2016 (width 120–175 mm, minimum capacity 27 kg), on bikes from 24" to 29", including e-bikes up to 25 km/h.
