Description
The Brompton Café Lock is a lightweight lock built into an extended seatpost that replaces the one on your Brompton. It therefore always stays on the bike, with no extra bag or mount.
It works with a combination code: no keys to carry or lose. Brompton describes it as a low-security lock, designed to deter opportunistic theft during a short stop at a café, a bar or on the train. For longer parking, a sturdier lock is still recommended.
The whole unit weighs 622 g including the seatpost, 178 g more than a standard extended seatpost. It is compatible with Brompton A Line, C Line, Electric C Line Mk1 and e-Motiq, P Line Mk1 and Mk2, Electric P Line Mk1 and e-Motiq, T Line, Electric T Line e-Motiq, G Line and Electric G Line e-Motiq bikes.
