Description

The Continental Gatorskin is the go-to tyre for urban, messenger and fixed-gear riders, and a dependable partner for training and touring. Offered here in 28 inch, in 23-622, 25-622 and 32-622 widths.

Under the tread, the PolyX Breaker™ brings Continental's car-tyre expertise to the bike: an extremely resistant polyester fibre, tightly woven crosswise, that shields against foreign bodies and above all punctures, without affecting rolling resistance. On the sidewalls, DuraSkin® protection, a high-quality polyamide fabric, guards the casing in the toughest conditions: skidding along kerbs, long tours and rough roads.

3-ply 180 TPI casing, handmade in Germany.

The Schwalbe G-One R tyre in 45-622 is a race gravel tyre designed for performance on mixed terrain. Its distinctive boomerang-shaped tread, made of arrow-shaped knobs pointing in the direction of travel, has wider, more closely packed knobs in the centre to reduce rolling resistance, and more spread-out knobs towards the shoulders for a rounded profile with grip on loose surfaces. It uses the fast, grippy Addix Race compound. Its Super Race casing with Souplesse construction provides a particularly supple, low-resistance ride that is well protected against impacts.
