The AGU GO Grant Rain Poncho Essential is a practical choice for everyday cyclists who want reliable rain protection that doesn't get in the way. The AGU Poray 5000 membrane blocks wind and rain effectively, and the taped seams seal every stitch line to stop water creeping through — a detail that matters on longer rides in persistent rain.
Sustainability is built into the fabric: the poncho is made from 100% recycled polyester sourced from PET bottles and carries a PFAS-free DWR finish that causes water to bead off the surface. It's part of the AGU Green Sphere range, designed for riders who care about what their gear is made from.
On the bike, a drawcord at the waist and adjustable wrist cuffs keep the poncho from flapping in the wind. The adjustable hood fits over most helmets, and reflective elements at the front and back add a meaningful visibility boost when light is poor.
