Description
Favero Assioma PRO MX-1 — Single-sided SPD power meter pedals for MTB and gravel
The Assioma PRO MX-1 is the entry point to power measurement on MTB and gravel: a sensor built into the left pedal spindle, 100% SPD® compatible, with the same mechanics and durability as the dual-sided version. Total power is estimated by doubling the left leg, with ±1% accuracy on the measurement itself.
Left-side sensing, upgradeable
The sensor sits inside the left spindle — no external pod exposed to impacts or spray. IAV Power with a 3-axis gyroscope reads instantaneous angular velocity and stays accurate even under very irregular pedalling: surges, technical sections, oval chainrings. The MX-UP upgrade kit lets you move to dual-sided later without buying a whole new pair.
Built for MTB and gravel
6061-T6 aluminium body, chromoly clipping mechanism (up to 800 HV hardness), optimised mud shedding. Rated for category 3 bicycle use: demanding terrain, drops up to 61 cm. IP67 waterproofing means jet washing is no problem.
Battery and charging
Up to 160 hours per charge, and 15 minutes of magnetic charging gives 15 hours of riding. The lithium-ion battery is sealed inside the spindle — no batteries to replace.
Replaceable body, modular spindle
The pedal body can be swapped in the workshop, so wear or an impact never writes off the sensor. The PRO spindle is shared with the road versions (RL / RS): change the body and the same sensor moves from MTB to road.
Connectivity
Simultaneous ANT+ and Bluetooth Low Energy (up to 3 BLE connections). Works with Garmin, Wahoo, Hammerhead, Bryton, Sigma, smartwatches, Zwift, TrainerRoad, Strava and the Favero Assioma app for setup and firmware updates.
