Description
Favero Assioma PRO MX-2 — Dual-sided SPD power meter pedals for MTB and gravel
The Assioma PRO MX-2 are the first fully SPD®-compatible MTB pedals with dual-sided power measurement. A sensor in each pedal, ±1% accuracy, a replaceable 6061-T6 aluminium body and all electronics housed inside the spindle: real power data on the roughest terrain, with no external pod exposed to impacts.
True dual-sided measurement
Each pedal has its own sensor, so left/right balance is measured rather than doubled. IAV Power with a 3-axis gyroscope reads instantaneous angular velocity and holds ±1% accuracy even under very irregular pedalling — surges, technical climbs, oval chainrings.
Built for MTB and gravel
6061-T6 aluminium body, chromoly clipping mechanism (up to 800 HV hardness) and optimised mud shedding. Rated for category 3 bicycle use: demanding terrain, drops up to 61 cm. IP67 waterproofing means jet washing is no problem.
Battery and charging
Up to 160 hours per charge. Both pedals charge simultaneously through magnetic connectors and a Y cable, and 15 minutes of charging gives 15 hours of riding. The lithium-ion battery is sealed inside the spindle — no batteries to replace.
Replaceable body, modular spindle
The pedal body can be swapped in the workshop, so wear or an impact never writes off the sensor. The PRO spindle is shared with the road versions (RL / RS): change the body and the same sensor moves from MTB to road.
Connectivity
Simultaneous ANT+ and Bluetooth Low Energy (up to 3 BLE connections). Works with Garmin, Wahoo, Hammerhead, Bryton, Sigma, smartwatches, Zwift, TrainerRoad, Strava and the Favero Assioma app for setup and firmware updates.
