The Fox Mud Guard MY23 XL is the oversized front fender designed for riders who spend time on muddy or wet trails and want to keep their vision clear and their bike cleaner. At XL size, it delivers 85% more coverage than the standard Fox fender — a meaningful difference when water and debris are being thrown up from the front wheel.
Installation is straightforward thanks to the 4-point direct-mount system, which anchors to the fork's bleeder valves and crown rather than relying on zip ties or clamps. All mounting bolts are included, and the result is a secure, rattle-free fit that holds through rough descents.
The fender is compatible with Fox 36 forks (2021–2025) and Fox 38 forks (2021–2026) fitted with bleeder valves. Tyre clearance runs up to 29 x 2.5 or 27.5 x 2.7, so it works with the wide rubber common on trail and enduro bikes. Note: not compatible with Rhythm models or forks produced before 2021.
