Description
The Garmin Bounce 2 is a smartwatch built for children — and above all for parents who want to stay reachable without putting a smartphone in their child's hands.
Its central feature is LTE connectivity (subscription required): your child can make and receive voice calls thanks to the built-in microphone and speaker, and you can follow their location via LiveTrack, without depending on a phone being nearby. Battery life is 2 days in smartwatch mode.
Day to day, the 1.2-inch AMOLED touchscreen (390 x 390 pixels) stays readable outdoors, and the watch is 5 ATM water-rated: it goes to the pool without a second thought. The 43 x 43 x 12.4 mm fibre-reinforced polymer case weighs just 26.5 g (40.4 g with the silicone strap), and the strap adjusts from 115 to 180 mm to keep up with growth. Chemically strengthened glass, 4 GB of memory, Bluetooth, ANT+ and Wi-Fi. Purple.
