The Garmin Edge 840 is a GPS cycling computer that brings together precise navigation, in-depth training analysis and real-time coaching in a compact unit weighing around 85 g. The 2.6-inch transflective TFT screen stays clearly visible under direct sunlight, while the combination of touchscreen and 7 physical buttons means you can operate it reliably with or without gloves.

Multi-constellation GNSS support (GPS, GLONASS, Galileo, multi-band) ensures accurate positioning even in challenging terrain. The onboard barometric altimeter, gyroscope, accelerometer and magnetometer provide detailed environmental and movement data without relying on external sensors. Garmin Cycle Map comes preloaded, so turn-by-turn navigation is available the moment you set off — no preparation required.

For training, the Edge 840 offers tools that go beyond simple data logging. ClimbPro gives you a detailed breakdown of upcoming climbs, Real-Time Stamina tracks how much energy you have left mid-ride, and adaptive coaching suggests tailored workouts based on your current training load and fitness level.
