Garmin GPS Edge Explore 3 Plus

The Garmin Edge Explore 3 Plus keeps everything that makes the Edge Explore 3, the simple, complete GPS bike computer for leisure rides, commuting, bike touring and e-bikes, and adds a built-in microphone and speaker as well as Wi-Fi.

With voice control, you operate the Edge without letting go of the bars: request a new route, check your ride stats, report a road hazard or change screens. The microphone lets you send voice messages through the Garmin Messenger app, and the speaker plays incoming messages, reads out your stats and gives navigation and workout prompts. It also acts as a digital bike bell to alert pedestrians. Wi-Fi lets you update maps directly, without a computer.

For navigation, you get detailed cycling maps (Cycle Map and TopoActive) with turn-by-turn directions, route options by ride time, elevation or bike type, Up Ahead for points of interest along your route, Free Flow Routing and community alerts (potholes, road closures, aggressive animals). Send a place from Google Maps or Apple Maps on your smartphone and the Edge builds a bike-specific route. With a compatible e-bike (Bosch smart system, SHIMANO E-Bike), it shows battery and assist mode (depending on the model) and factors range into route planning.

For safety and fitness: incident detection, LiveTrack, weather alerts, bike alarm, Find My Edge and compatibility with Varia radars, cameras and lights. Free Garmin Cycling Coach plans, including for beginners, adapt to your performance, and Garmin Link shows heart rate from your compatible Garmin watch. The commuter ride profile shows the CO2 you save in real time.
