Description
This Hesling open-type chain guard is designed specifically for bikes fitted with the Bosch Generation 3 mid-drive motor. The 38-tooth, 18 cm diameter format is sized for the standard chainring configuration on 28-inch wheel bicycles – the most widespread size in urban and trekking cycling.
A chain guard does two practical things: it shields the chain from road dirt and grime, and it prevents trouser legs, coat hems and bag straps from catching on the chain during everyday rides. A small addition that makes a noticeable difference on regular commutes.
Made from black plastic, it sits neatly on the drivetrain without adding bulk. The open design also keeps the chain accessible for routine cleaning and maintenance.
