Newmen Advanced SL X.R.36 VONOA CL

The Newmen Advanced SL X.R.36 VONOA is a carbon gravel front wheel in 29" / 622, built to 12x100 mm with a Centerlock disc mount (manufacturer article no. 90955).

Its case rests on the spokes: the VONOA carbon spokes weigh 2.9 g each and are around 40% lighter and considerably stiffer than conventional steel spokes. In practice, the wheel picks up speed more sharply and tracks precisely where a softer build would flex. Because carbon takes the load better, 21 spokes are enough to balance stiffness and comfort — and the whole thing stays easy to service.

The 36 mm carbon rim aims at the balance between cutting through the air on fast sections and staying well-mannered when the road turns or the wind picks up. It's hookless tubeless ready, with a 24 mm inner width that lets you run wide gravel tyres at low pressure. The integrated Streem aero valve disappears completely into the rim.

At the centre, the FADE R CS 21h hub carries Newmen's in-house technology: contained weight, proven durability and a quiet freehub. The wheel weighs 575 g, takes a maximum system weight of 130 kg and falls under category 2. Supplied ready to ride with the complete Streem Aero valve kit, pre-installed tubeless rim tape and Milkit sealant.
