The Ortlieb Back-Roller Free QL2.1 comes as a pair of two 20-litre panniers, giving you 40 litres of combined storage. Each bag attaches to your rack via the Quick-Lock 2.1 system: the self-locking hooks engage with a single motion and release just as quickly – a real advantage when you arrive at your destination with your hands full. The roll-top hermetic closure creates a watertight seal without relying on zips that can wear out over time. The shell is made from PU-coated polyester, free of PVC, striking a balance between durability, weather resistance and reduced environmental impact. Each pannier holds up to 9 kg, leaving plenty of room for a laptop, a change of clothes and your lunch. The QL2.1 brackets adjust tool-free from 10 to 16 mm in 1 mm increments, and 8, 10 and 12 mm reducers are included in the box to cover the vast majority of rack tube diameters. Both bags are symmetrical, so either one can be mounted on the left or right side. An internal pocket and a snap-hook shoulder strap are included in each pannier, making them easy to carry once you're off the bike.
