ORTLIEB Back-Roller QL2.1 40 L

The Ortlieb Back-Roller QL2.1 40 L is a rear pannier designed for cyclists who want reliable protection against rain and a mounting system that never slows them down. The roll-top closure — simply rolled down and clipped — creates a waterproof seal without relying on a zip, making it far more resistant to prolonged exposure to rain. The Quick-Lock QL2.1 system lets you attach or remove the pannier in seconds, with no tools required. The upper hooks and sliding lower hook can be adjusted to fit rack tubes up to 16 mm in diameter; reducers for 8, 10, and 12 mm tubes are included, ensuring broad compatibility across different bike setups. The body is built from PS 490 nylon side panels and PD 620 front and rear faces — materials chosen for their abrasion resistance and ability to repel moisture. 3M Scotchlite reflectors on the panels add passive visibility at dusk and after dark. An internal pocket helps you organise smaller items — keys, documents, snacks — so they don't disappear into the main compartment. Manufactured in Germany and backed by a 5-year guarantee, the Back-Roller QL2.1 is built for the long run, whether you're loading it up for the daily commute or setting off on a multi-day tour.
